Acclaimed writer for children and entertainer David Walliams has been dropped by his UK book publisher, according to an announcement.
A representative for the publisher commented: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish additional books by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was reached following an inquiry regarding allegations of inappropriate behaviour towards female individuals.
The firm declined to specify the motivations for this action, noting: "It is not our policy to discuss confidential company decisions."
An Illustrious Literary Career
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over in excess of 60 million copies globally in 55 languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
A number of his titles, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into television films.
His bibliography includes more than 40 books combined, encompassing a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.
