Kansas City Chiefs Confirm Alleged Abuse Allegations Connected to Player the Athlete

The Kansas City Chiefs released a comment on Wednesday evening indicating they are aware of claims of abuse circulated in social media posts by a former girlfriend of wide receiver the athlete and were in contact with the league office.

The organization did not mention the player by name in their announcement and stated they would have “nothing more to add at this time”.

Dacoda Nichole Jones, who likewise did not name Rice directly, shared a series of photos on Instagram that seemed to depict indicators of bodily harm.
